Epic has moved its refreshed Fortnite Developer Roadmap to the Epic Developer Community, combining feature planning with discussion threads and more explicit timing information.

The September 4 announcement says roadmap items show status and confidence in their expected ship dates. Creators can browse by quarter or capability, search and filter, then open an item's forum thread to comment or vote.

Epic also says its development teams will update the roadmap regularly and flag significant changes in release notes. A September 10 follow-up confirmed that the release schedule again has a place on the UEFN roadmap.

For teams building within another company's platform, a roadmap is a planning input rather than a delivery guarantee. A confidence indicator helps expose uncertainty, but a production schedule still needs a fallback when a promised feature slips or changes scope.

Creators evaluating upcoming work can use the roadmap to track dependencies and the related threads to ask focused questions. Announced timing should still be checked against the released tools before committing a project to it.
