A mobile-game beta is easier to interpret when each group knows what it is testing. Apple's TestFlight supports separate tester groups and different builds, giving a team a way to divide platform checks from gameplay feedback.

Apple currently allows up to 100 internal testers with eligible App Store Connect roles and up to 10,000 external testers. External distribution requires the first build to have TestFlight App Review approval.

Public invitation links can use device and operating-system criteria. The service also collects screenshot feedback, written comments and crash information through App Store Connect.

Those features help organise participation, but a large tester limit does not guarantee useful coverage. A team still needs to choose the devices, game states and player journeys it wants to examine.

Give each group a short task and a way to identify the build involved. Review issues by device and operating system as well as frequency. Testing completion and App Store publication are separate steps; the chosen release build still goes through the applicable submission process.
