Warhorse Studios reports cyberattack affecting systems and data
The developer says cybersecurity experts are assisting, while the breach's full scope remains unclear.

Warhorse Studios said a cyberattack gave unauthorized parties access to its company systems and data. The developer of Kingdom Come: Deliverance and an unnamed Lord of the Rings RPG said it was working with cybersecurity experts.
CEO Martin Frývaldský described the incident as serious for the studio and those affected. He said the immediate priorities were securing systems, determining the extent of the breach and protecting employees, partners and the community.
The attack's full scope had not been detailed or fully assessed. For partners and others working with the studio, that leaves uncertainty about which data or systems were affected; the disclosed information does not establish any impact on game development.
